The Horned Frog Yearbook
Mission Statement: As a team of friends, we The Horned Frog Yearbook, value the diversity of the TCU community by artistically creating a respected historical record.
The traditional yearbook is alive and thriving on the Texas Christian University campus, with an award-winning 500-page full-color book that serves as the on-going pictorial and historical record of university life.
The Horned Frog, which is said to have received its name before the school mascot was dubbed "Horned Frogs," has been in print since 1898. It has progressed with the times, and is now published digitally, with all design, photography and pre-press production taking place in the student-run Horned Frog offices. Beginning with the 2004-2005 academic year, the book also includes a movie-style DVD, included free with each yearbook.
Student participation in the yearbook is invited, and all students, with or without previous experience, can find spots in the group. The staff boasts a healthy sense of friendship and community, and a strong work ethic, and functions cohesively during strenuous, often stressful deadlines times, as well as regular social events.
The Horned Frog is consistently ranked among the nation's top college yearbooks, and wins design awards yearly.
